Rihanna, 50% Diamonds, 50% Glamour at This Year’s Crop Over in Barbados

Rihanna has already proved time and time again that’s she’s a full-time party girl and this year’s Crop Over Festival in Barbados has only reinforced an old belief of everybody’s: when it comes to stealing the show, she’s truly in a league of her own.

 

While we were all ironing out the plain shirt that we’d wear for work on a regular weekday, Riri was rocking an alluring diamond-embedded bra and matching panties. The only things better than her amazing bikini were probably her head-dress and wings, both made out of gorgeous iridescent blue and black feathers. Now that’s what I call exceeding expectations!

To say the pics she’s posted on Instagram have gone viral would be an understatement. They’re much more than that, as absolutely everyone is crazy about her dazzling outfit, which perfectly highlights her wild copper hair and quirky tattoos.

There’s no doubt that she had a whale of time. When she wasn’t dancing her feet off, you could see her sipping some fancy drink out of a bejeweled cup or casually puffing at a cigarette while broadly grinning at the crowd.

Although letting her hair down was definitely a top priority, it seems like she didn’t forget to send a powerful message that we should all keep in mind…

Now, it’s already crystal clear that Rihanna is not only model material, but also an exceptional social justice warrior, as being dressed to kill and fighting for racial equality seem to come naturally to her. What’s even more impressive is the fact that this Monday, she also let us see a more sensitive side of her.

If her Instagram’s called badgalriri, I guess we could call this facet of her personality famgalriri. Relishing every moment spent on her home island, she was spotted not only hugging several members of her family, including her proud granddad, but also comforting a crying baby girl, as you can see in the picture above.

This leaves us pondering on what a formidable mother Rihanna could be… She’s got the looks and, more importantly, she’s got the attitude. In other words, she’s perfect genetic material.
