Ron Paolillo – Now

Ron continued acting and directing and was a successful director and performer in Broadway and off-Broadway plays. He was also a drama teacher in Florida’s G-Star School of The Arts For Motion Pictures and Broadcasting. Ron had his own one man play in 2000 in an off-Broadway play in New York, where he had portrayed the Nazi criminal Adolf Eichmann. In 2007 he dabbed in fashion design and issued a limited edition clothing line for T shirts. He also wrote two books for children, and had provided the artwork for both of the books. In 2012 Ron suffered a heart attack at his Florida home which resulted in his death, which was pronounced upon his arrival to the hospital. He was the second cast member from the “Welcome Back, Kotter” show to have died from a heart attack in 2012. The first was Robert Hegyes. Rest in peace, Ron. You are surely missed!
